Citizens Informed is a campaign formed to educate North Carolina citizens on the need for an online portal to host our state budget and spending database. We believe citizens should be able to track how their hard earned tax-dollars are being budgeted and spent.
Our online portal should be

- user-friendly
in order to allow citizens the ability to track state government spending, contracts and grants.
It’s time we join our federal government and 18 other states in making our government spending and budgeting processes more transparent.
